My background is rooted in nature and biology, with graduate studies at Moss Landing Marine Laboratories in Monterey, California. As a former research diver, I still enjoy diving and stay connected to my passion for the outdoors through community service. I also dedicated years to the Butte County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Team.
